Obviously, Bill was along on this trip as here he is on the left. Probably the only picture I have of Bill. The bottles Alan and I are hoisting are six-liter bottles of cheap Tequila; our favorite starter fluid for fires and ourselves. At this time, this was probably just a hair-of-the-dog.
Ensenada, BC, August 1965, here are Me, Norm and Alan and some girls we met down at Alexandro's Campground on Punta Banda. Sleeping on blankets next to the beach, living on this table, at least there was a toilet. We had our boat and went fishing at Three Sisters, where even the local's wouldn't go.
We 'ed spend our nights in Ensenada, somehow drive back to the camp, sleep, get up early and go fishing. How we did it is beyond imagination.
