Right now, two of the buildings that are intact are filled with Cham sculptures that you can walk up to and touch. It is an amazing experience and one that, as evidenced throughout Europe, cannot continue without loss of the value of the objects.
The My Son site is a wonderful stroll on a pathway through the jungle to see the various groupings of the old buildings and other objects.
At this site we got our first taste of the fecundity of the surrounding jungle-like area. The flora takes over everything unless managed on a very regular basis. Moss covers everything that doesn’t move.
