This little chapel, probably originally of Moorish influence, is the only structure between our Residential and the end of the point.  The stonework is the old “boat-launching ramp” for when this was a part of Peniche and the “Coast Guard” operated off of the little peninsula of Baleal; their old “station” is directly behind our Residential, which would be to the right in the picture.
