Cozumel, Mexico, February 1988 - 3
A home in the jungle in the back-country. There was quite a bit of poverty in Cozumel, and I expect it is still so.

This was our arrival night, after quite a few roadblocks in the travel plans. Perhaps I had a bit much tequila. The hat was an old tradition between Alan and me.

Me, Bron, Alice and Alan outside of a small business in town.

The one thing for which Cozumel is famous, we didn't do ...diving.

Bron, at the start of our horse-back ride. Bron had never been on a horse before. When in the jungle, Alice and Amber galloped on ahead, and Bron's horse tried to follow. She nearly was thrown, and will never get on a horse again...

A view up the coast to one of the new (1988) condominiums. The development was poised to take off and I expect that it has. What a beautiful coastline.
