This is the last picture of this particular garden. This type of site was, along with the Buddhist sites, my favorite in China.
I think these gardens and the planning that went into them return their value to the public and owners many times over in peace and tranquillity within the chaos that is modern China; and it was probably just as chaotic in ancient China when most of these gardens were originally designed and planted.
Both Bron and I certainly found these gardens to give us a break from the pace of the tour, and from the throngs of people at all of the popular sites that we visited. These were generally less crowded and those that were visiting seemed to be moving a little slower and having a bit more consideration for the others who were trying to enjoy the situation.
Don't miss some gardens if you visit.
